SAN JOSE — The San Jose Betsuin Bonsai Club’s 38th annual exhibit will be held Saturday, April 12, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuiin, 640 N. 5th St. (near Jackson) in Japantown.

Demonstrations will be given both days at 1 p.m. by Harry Hirao from Southern California, also known as “Mr. California Juniper,”

A benefit drawing of demonstration trees will immediately follow the demonstrations. Participants must be present to win.

Bonsai plants, pots, tools and accessories will be available for sale.
