CASTRO VALLEY — The Eden Nikkei Seniors League played on March 20 at Castro Village Bowl.

The momentum is with Tako as they registered their second consecutive shutout of their opponents. Led by Jim Yokomizo’s 226 and 205 games, supported by teammates Roy Ogata with a 212 and 201 game and Marlene Chang’s above average games, Tako dominated Tai. It was noted that Ben Takeshita of Tai shot a 231 game in a losing cause.

Helped by Bill Hom’s 202 score, Nigiri managed two wins over Mirugai, and maintained their second-place standing.

Mits Kadoyama began with three unconverted splits, but finished strongly with a 216 game to aid Sake to a win; however, it was Nob Iwasa’s 214 and 204 games, and Yen Liu’s(118 average) 424 series that contributed to taking the remaining games for Tamago.
